Apple Blossom is located less than 5 miles from the Falmouth bike park which makes it an ideal spot for enthusiastic mountain bikers. The trials at the Bike park range from easy to severe and are perfect for either families looking for an exciting day riding through the forest to keen mountain bikers who are looking for their next challenge.
The bike park has a visitor centre and provides bike hire for a reasonable fee.
The area is also great for walking/ hiking and is perfect for any wildlife photographers looking to spot some illusive birds. The walking trails vary in length and difficulty so finding one to suit you should be as easy as 123! The trail maps are posted along the trail regularly so there is no need to worry about getting lost. That being said, the phone service is hit and miss.
Being close to the sea Apple Blossom is the perfect basecamp for anyone looking to sail from the river Fal. The area is perfect for sailing and the Falmouth yacht club even offers the opportunity to take a day lesson in sailing, the only problem being is that you might get wet!
